Awana

Our Awana Bible Club meets every Wednesday evening during the school year. It ministers to children ages 3 years through 6th grade.  The primary focus of Awana is Scripture memory.  The evening is broken into three segments: Handbook (Scripture memory); Games;  and Counsel Time (brief devotional given). Special opportunities for service and fun are planned throughout the year. Although the AWANA program is "out for the summer", there's a lot going on at Tri City.  Next week, is VBS and we've got A-Club the rest of the summer!  There are games, Missionary stories and much more going on.  Come join the fun!  AWANA will be back before you know it!

Children's Church

Kids ages 4 years through 6th grade are provided a separate time of worship during the preaching segment of the Sunday Morning Worship service.  Children have a lesson, sing songs, and sometimes…have refreshments. Our children sing specials in our services on a regular basis, and fun fellowship times are planned as well.

Nursery  - Toddler

This is one of our most important ministries!

  • The Infant Nursery is for newborn babies up to 2 years old and is provided for all church services.

  • The Toddler Nursery is provided for our two and three year olds during the Sunday evening services.

  • During the Sunday School hour, our toddlers have their own class.

  • During the Sunday Morning Worship service, Toddler Church is conducted.  Toddlers stay in their class after Sunday School for their own special “church” service. Toddler church involves a Bible lesson, refreshments, songs, and some games or play time.

  • On Wednesday evenings, our three year olds participate in our Awana program.  Those two years and under remain in the Infant Nursery on Wednesday evenings.

Trustees Help

Our trustees are entrusted with the maintenance and upkeep of our building, vehicles, and grounds.  It is a great help to them to know of individuals who have skills and abilities and are willing to assist with the various projects.  Areas of need are usually painting, cleaning, and general maintenance.

Ladies' - various ministries

Ladies’ Bible Study -

At 9:30 a.m. on Thursday mornings, our ladies meet in the choir room for a time of Bible study.  Each lady prepares on her own and comes ready to share what the Lord has taught her through her own private worship and study.  Various topics and books of the Bible are studied. Class meets September through May.

Food Group Ministry -

The Food Group Ministry is a ministry of hospitality and encouragement! Ladies who are willing to serve in this special ministry are placed in groups with other ladies.  When one of our church members is hospitalized (some stipulations apply) or in the death of an immediate family member, a Food Group is contacted and our ladies provide a much needed and much appreciated meal.
